Biography

Amr Addas is an Adjunct Professor at the John Molson School of Business and the Goodman Institute, Concordia University, and a member of the Core Faculty for the Sustainable Investment Professional Certificate (SIPC) program. In addition, Amr has taught at McGill University and Sherbrooke University. He is also a Research Associate and responsible for industry relations for the Desjardins Chair in Sustainable Investing at Sherbrooke University. In his capacity as a financial consultant, Amr works with financial advisors and portfolio managers, offering portfolio construction services and newsletters, as well as heading portfolio construction at WealhKernel, a UK-based robo-advisor. Amr is also involved in a number of volunteer sustainable investing activities, including being a member of Finance Montréal’s Working Group on Sustainable Investing. Amr obtained his MBA from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1995 and his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the American University in Cairo in 1991. Amr is an active member of the CFA Institute.
