Hasina Razafimahefa is a Senior ESG Analyst at NEI Investments. She is responsible for researching and evaluating the environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks of global companies, primarily in the Financials sector. Over the last four years, she conducted ongoing corporate dialogues on key ESG issues ranging from the board oversight of ESG risks, responsible lending, climate change, to business ethics and executive compensation. Hasina also leads efforts that aim for a better integration of ESG perspectives into NEI’s investment decisions.
Prior to joining NEI in 2015, Hasina played various roles in sustainability research including with the Shareholder Association for Research and Education (SHARE) and Metro Vancouver. She started her career as a financial auditor with PwC and was also responsible for the financial planning and analysis of environmental projects at WWF.
Hasina is fluent in English, French and Malagasy. She holds a Master of Science degree in Sustainability from the University of Tokyo and a postgraduate degree in Finance from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
