Biography

Tina has an extensive career leading organizations through periods of change, growth and rebranding. For the past 7 years she has focused on providing strategic and change management leadership to drive Diversity and Inclusion efforts within financial and telecommunication institutions.

In her current role as Senior Consultant, Diversity & Inclusion at Bell, Tina is responsible for the end-to-end leadership and program management of Bell’s enterprise Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategy. She provided thought leadership for the development and implementation of the D&I engagement and governance model as well as a leadership unconscious bias program.

Prior to this role, Tina was D&I Strategic Initiatives Manager with BMO Financial Group, responsible for the implementation of D&I programs and initiatives for 32,000 employees. In addition to implementing unconscious bias training, inclusive leadership, employee engagement and sponsorship programs, Tina spearheaded a task force to assess and provide solutions for systemic D&I issues. Tina was also co-chair of WISE (Women in a Supported Environment), BMO’s Employee Resource Group.

Her work in D&I began in 2013 when she joined Women in Capital Markets (WCM) as the Director of Operations, where she designed and implemented programs to attract, retain and advance women in the financial services sector. This career transition into diversity evolved after having spent 10 years in the financial services sector as a credit market analyst and understanding the need for systemic change in order to progress toward gender parity.

With a passion for giving back, Tina has also made a footprint in the Not-For-Profit and Academic sectors having served as an active board member and Governance Committee Chair on the Canadian Advisory Council for Neuchâtel Junior College (NJC) as well as Links2Care agency.

A native of Montreal, Tina is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder and received her Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Economics and Public Policy and Administration from the University of Ottawa. She enjoys playing and coaching girls hockey.
